Porthkerry Park - 2007

The pupils of Cadoxton Primary School were recently invited by the Woodland Trust to Porthkerry Park for an afternoon of tree planting.

The Year 4 children took part in different activities.  They had a fantastic time planting young trees.  They dug the holes, put in stakes and planted a sapling.  Different types of trees were planted including oak, beech and chestnut.

Dormouse Day - 2007

Y3 children visited Porthkerry Park on Wednesday 21st November.  The children were invited by the Ecology Team at the Vale of Glamorgan Council and the Wildlife Trust to learn about the Dormouse and its habitat.

Cadoxton Ponds - 2007

Y6 children visited Cadoxton Ponds to reinforce learning on the ‘Environment’.  The children were involved in pond dipping, bug hunting and a discovery trail!
