  You are welcome to borrow books from the classroom any day.

You can borrow story sacks on Wednesday and return them on Mondays.

Our P.E.Day is Thursday (don't forget to bring your kit!).

 

Autumn term

Welcome to the class of 2009. The children have settled in well.

 

     Our topic this half term is Ourselves.

 

When talking with the children about themselves it was obvious that the children enjoyed celebrating their birthdays and having a party.

 

It was decided to have a party room. The children made invitations, party hats, they made birthday cards, decorated the room and made cakes. Then they played party games and recorded their own songs to play in the party room.

 The children learnt a poem called '5 little leaves' and recited it during the Harvest Festival. Thank you for your generous donations. 

 

As it is now Autumn the children have been on a walk around the park to look at the changes that take place at this time.

The items collected on our walk were used by the children to make pictures and collages.

 

The week before half term we will be looking at the country of India, their customs and traditions such as 'Divali' the Hindu festival of light.
