Summer Term 09
This summer we will be studying the topics Animals and Water. We will also be holding a European week, w/c 18th May, where Year 1 will be looking at Italy, and an American week from the 6th - 10th July.
Dow Corning Nature Reserve
We enjoyed a visit to Dow Corning Nature Reserve to reinforce the topic animals and environments. We had fun bug hunting, pond dipping and going on a nature trail. The children really enjoyed the day particularly when we found a dragonfly, caterpillars and tadpoles. We were very lucky to see the cygnets that were born that morning.

Sports Day
This year we held our sports day in Victoria Park. The sun was shining and the children had great fun having running, skipping, egg and spoon, bean bag and obsctacle races against each other. Great fun was had by all and we hope to return to the park next year.
